Kaffir Boy

I can not believe that they try and get young boys into prostitution. This is unbelievable. I can not even imaging. That little boy must have been soooo scared. He knew that he was not going to just get free food for nothing. He knew there was going to be a price, and i am glad he got out before they rapped him. It is just disgusting what those men could do to those innocent children. i am appalled by this fact. I know that stuff happens like this every day, but its hard to hear. Well, i guess i know why aids spreads quickly in Africa. They don't have a choice most of them. they have to do it to live.

Kaffir Boy

Wow, this book is really strong. It's nearly hard to sit and read it. There is so much action going on. There father bugs me in particular. He is so against what every they want to do. he is so controlling. I really fell for this little boy. He has to be in charge of his little siblings on all these raids, while his mother and father hide. His mother is just stuck in this awful situation. I really can't see her liking her husband, but i guess she has to. She keeps on having all these kids. Poor woman!

To Kill A Mockingbird

I really like the writing assignment for this book. It's like she gave you more specific guidelines, and you have to make it your own. This really is the fun part for me. You get to create a paper that is all your opinion on certain topics. I also like the way it is broken up. You can get a lot of information into one paragraph. To Kill A Mockingbird is really one of the best books we have read this year. I really enjoyed it. Unlike Of Mice and Men..... Sorry Mrs.Rosin, i will never like that book.
