Writer

The writer that came in really made me see the book in a whole new perspective. He really knew his stuff! I wish he could come in after every book!!!!

Singer dies. Wow i actually called the Greek guy dying but not Singer. I really thought he might get over it or just be depressed. Well, i guess i got the depressed part right, but not to the degree it was. He was such a nice guy and really helped people. I just gives me the chills when i hear about incidents like that. He was sooooo much better than this guy and he chose to give his life for him? This is totally sounding like Jesus but this is stupid. This guy was just flat out mean and Singer was flat out nice. I really don't get why he could possible do this to himself and all the other people who rely on him.

I really wonder what happened to Baby. She did get shot in the head, but she would never make her mother embarrassed. She was the little runt screeching at the show and caused her mother to whip her into shape. I thought that this accident would make her more of a Mommy's girl. I thought she would be worse than her normal self, but in a different way. She is not pleasing her mother and i thought that was the only thing on her agenda. I wonder how she is going to turn out. This character makes me actually wonder for the first time in the book.

The dad is this story really sounds like a dead beet dad. He sit at home, drunk, most of the time. I know times are tough, but this guy is not doing anything. I am aware of the fact that the applied for this position, but if Mick can get a job, i think he can too. The guy repairs watches.... no duh they are broke. He gets like less than a buck a repair and he get a couple repairs a week. That really does n0t sound like enough money to provide for a family. I say off the work bench and into the work force. There has got to be something out there to provide for his family better.

I really am appalled by the living conditions of these people. When they all share rooms and everything, no wonder there is so much sickness. They can't get proper medical care for any of the kids, and the house sounds like its about to fall to pieces. These poor kids have limited direction from there parents and dodge alternatives. If i was gone as much as Mick was, my parents would kill me. I can't even leave the house with out an explanation. This girl is running all over town and doing what eve she pleases. No wonder George shot the little girl. These are also white people, this means there are blacks who are even worse off. I can safely say that i would never be able to survive in the atmosphere.

Mick and this job.... who really thinks that its going to work out? Pretty much everything she does is haphazard or abnormal. I highly doubt she will keep down this job. I can just see her getting mad at a customer and getting fired or something. She is still not a proper girl or person really. She does not know how to think all the time. If i was an employer, i would want someone who is a little more stable. Like she said herself to Mr. Singer, do you really think this is a good idea?

I really feel for the doctor. He is just sitting on his death bed them, boom. A very obnoxious drunk guy walks in. That's really gotta make you feel better. He is TB. That's really as bad as i can get for a person, now this drunk guy is bothering you. He is not only drunk, but a know it all. Seriously, if i was the doctor, i might consider death at this point. If anyone else has had someone come see them while they are sick that just wouldn't leave, please let me know all about it :).
