The Giants in the Earth

I am not sure if i would like to live with a cow. I guess hes would be good company on a lonely prairie, but still. Its a cow. They have all kinds of like fleas and stuff. What about like disease? Well i guess a lot of diseases are like non transferable from humans to cows. There is still something kinda weird about living with a cow.

I am starting to like the book. It makes you fell like you have accomplished something too when they get there work done. I fell like i was there helping them work the land and make the house. His excitement about the house is fun too. He really is a thinker. It's also good that his wife is a thinker. She knows when to put a stop to his crazy plans. They really even each other out.

I really fell bad for Beret. She is going to have a baby, and she has to ride on a bumpy wagon all day with a kid on her lap. She doesn't even really know where she is going, nor does her husband. With no end in sight, i would be depressed too. She has to take care of all her kids, the one in her tummy, and her husband who is way too eager to be going. I would be just as depressed if not more than she was.
