The story that really got me, was the one about the young girl getting molester by the uncle. I can't imagine having some one you know and love do that to you. For all the girls, can you imagine having someone who lived in your house do that? There is no way that could happen up here. I mean, if you told your parents, your uncle would be out on the street. I wonder what ever happened to end end of that story.

The amount of abuse in this book is just plain scary. These poor women are getting the stuffing beaten out of them. I have never been abused, but i don't think i could sit around and love him. I would get out of there. Especially if i had a family. What kind of an environment is that for kids to grow up in? If you have boys, they might act like there father. If you have girls, they might end up getting abused later in life. It's way too big of a gamble to take.

The sections in the book about the girls who had been molested really opened my eyes. I have no idea of the pain they must be in. They hide there secret everyday and stay strong. I can't believe the strength they must have to just get up every morning. I hope that this will inspire girls to speak out when they are molested and not keep it inside.
