Kite Runner
The symbolism of red in the book is huge. You really see the theme of it everywhere. I am not quite sure what it is fr though. It it red for blood and suffering? Or is it red for danger? Or is it red for heart. I really like the theme of the red in the book.
Kite Runner
The movie is going to be just as sad and gut wrenching as the book. It makes me feel so bad for little Hassan. He is so innocent and cute. I do not think that i could stand to see anything bad happen to him. He is like the loyal dog. Amir basically shot the loyal loving cute doggie. I do not honestly know how you could remain silent. There is no way on this earth that I would have been able to stand there are watch that. Watching that happen is completely against what i stand for.

Kite Runner
I am not a fan of the ending of this book. You do get a good feeling, but i really would have enjoyed to hear about the rest of his life. They pretty much cut you off. You never hear if they really become a family or not. You get the feeling that they might be, but you really never know for sure. I really hope he can find happiness again. He is so young to give up on life. There is so much left for him to do and experience. It would be a shame that he could not experience life. I do not wish that on anyone. You need to try and live your life. You might be happy at the place you are now, but you should take every day like an adventure and go see what you can find.
